Thirty-year-old actress Liv Tyler, the daughter of rock star Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and model Bebe Buell, announced she was filing for divorce after five years of marriage with British musician Royston Langdon.

Tyler starred in the movie "Armaggedon," with actor Ben Affleck and Bruce Willis. She also played the elf princess in "The Lord of the Rings."

The couple has one child, Milo William, 4.
