Marsha Garces Williams filed for a divorce in March from husband, Robin, citing "irreconcilable differences." The couple was married in April 1989, shortly after his divorce from Valerie Velardi, whom he had been married to for a decade.

The couple met while Garces worked as a nanny for Williams and Velardi, whose son, Zachary, was born in 1983. Garces and Williams have two children, Zelda, born in 1989, and Cody, born in 1991.

The couple have worked together professionally, founding Blue Wolf Productions. Garces produced the films "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Patch Adams," both of which featured Williams.
