Rocker Phil Collins made the record books this year when he paid his third wife more than $46 million as part of a divorce settlement.

Collins, 57, split from Orianne Cevey, 35, two years ago. The settlement was announced in August and became the highest divorce settlement in Britain's history thus far, according to media reports.

The couple met while Collins was on tour. They had been married for six years and have two sons, Nicolas, 8, and Matthew, 4.

Collins divorced his first wife Andrea Bertorelli in 1980. Fourteen years later, he divorced his second wife, Jill Tavelman, paying her $34 million after reportedly telling her he planned to divorce her in a fax.
