10 yrs over

I've been married for 10 yrs with two kids and i thought everything was great. There was the occasional fight every now and then but it would always end up in a good way. Lately though I feel that I have started to drift away from my wife and the spark is not there anymore. We bicker and fight just about anything now a days its gotten so bad that she neglects the kids and me just so she can spend time with her "FRIENDS" I confronted her about this and she genuinely was apologetic but then i found out she was talking to some guy and the other side of the country. She swears that they only talk. Now i really dont know what to do my family tells me to seek counseling but her friends tell her a divorce is a more viable source...Lately I finally agreed to the idea but she now has switched her mind and wants to stay together. Now my world is upside down I really dont know what to do...any suggestions?

First of all, she needs to get rid of the emotional ties to whoever she was talking to online, secondly, you and her must sit down and calmly discuss where your marriage is going and how to come to an agreement of how to get there. Find out what the both of you can do to make your marriage a better one, and if that includes counseling then do it. It takes two to make it work so make sure that she as well as you are willing to head down that road to recovery. I wish you the best.
