Sorry you are hurting like this.  Did she give you any reason at all as to why she wanted out?

She wont go to counseling. I go alone. She feels that over the years i have said things to hurt her. I never intended to, but i guess i have. I try to fight fair. Keep it clean and not hurtfull. She doesnt. She curses, and goes ballistic. I never laid a hand on her in all the years we have been together. We have 2 kids. 8 and 19. I thought things were getting better based on the fact that we havent had a fight in 2 months. She bought me a fathers days gift and what i thought was a touching card. Only to find out she didnt mean it.  That hurt quite a bit this morning to hear.

(((hugs)))

I know. Most of us do. I didn't want it to end, either. He got up one day and walked out. Never said why. Refuses to talk to me. I think I actually broke in half.

It is better now, over a year later. It started getting better after about 2 or 3 months. In the meantime I heard sounds coming out of my mouth that I didn't think a real human being could make.

It sucks. In no way is it remotely fair. They promised to love, honor and cherish until death do us part. They lied. She changed your life forever without consulting you. Cry, get angry, do anything you need to do for yourself to get through this.

We are here. We understand. Write. I left you an email in your inbox.

It will get better. I promise.

JEP,

Have you considered counseling? Will she agree to it? What are her reasons for leaving the marriage? Do you have children? More info please.
